Resources

Interactive: Progressive Era Women
NWHM is pleased to announce the launch of its first online interactive, "Progressive Era Women." The game allows users to select artifacts from five key areas of the Progressive Era - Temperance, Settlement Houses, Worker's Rights, Suffrage and Civil Rights - and connect them to complete the story of women's involvement in the Progressive Era. The interactive corresponds with NWHM's Online Exhibit "Reforming Their World: Women in the Progressive Era." Play The Game

New Online Exhibit

NWHM is thrilled to announce the launch of its second exhibit presented in partnership with Google Cultural Institute, "Game Changers: American Women & Sports." The exhibit explores the cultural, economic, social, and political barriers women have overcome to actively participate in sports and the challenges that remain today.

Dashboard

NWHM has launched a Dashboard to provide performance metrics as a way to maintain transparency.

NWHM Response to Recent Criticism

In light of the current campaign to discredit NWHM and its efforts to encourage passage of legislation that would create a Congressional Commission to produce a feasible plan for the national women's history museum, NWHM has compiled the following point-by-point response to the accusations that have been made. We are disappointed and more importantly, concerned that various groups and individuals have formed an opinion and taken a position without ever contacting NWHM for comment and the opportunity to refute the various accusations. We hope that those who have been swayed by one woman’s argument will take the time to read NWHM's response and weigh the facts.
