We are moving into a new phase of our growth and development of NWHM. We think our new look reflects our core values and supports our ongoing mission. We hope you do too! The National Women’s History Museum affirms the value of knowing Women’s History, illuminates the role of women in transforming society and encourages all people, women and men, to participate in democratic dialogue about our future.

New Exhibit
Women in Early FilmNWHM is pleased to announce the launch of its latest online exhibit, "Women in Early Film". Today's exceptionally talented women in film stand on the shoulders of the pioneers who came before them. Women in Early Film explores some of those trailblazers. As both consumers of film and professionals in the field, both in front of and behind the camera, women dramatically affected the development of American film.
