Women in Military Service:
Combat was considered a uniquely male endeavor, but military leaders quickly appreciated that women could perform support functions as military units. Most women served as auxiliary military forces, whose services would not be needed after the war.
This section is divided into three parts:
1) Nurse Corps 2) Armed Services 3) Aviators
